The worst insult I’ve ever had was when I was at an open hafla, having the time of my life and dancing fairly well in my opinion, only to have another dancer come up to me and say something along the lines of “Good job. One day you’re shure to be as good as I am.”.
It would have been a compliment if she were actually at least 1% better than I was. We danced at the same level! She was only as good as I was and vise-versa!
The best comliment I received was on my breaking. A woman said to me it was almost mesmerizing. She was very expressive. The woman I’d looked up to in her dancing since I was little.
But Shanazel has tagged the worst insult of all. The kind that can potentionally lead to lawsuit.
