Unfortunately that was not stated in the post on the MED list. But I think that person meant things in general, like other cultures taking over western things but still not respecting the culture (but now comes the point, western culture? Is that a unified thing? Think not
). Like they take over the ways of dressing, ways of living etc., take over maybe even ballet (and make something weird of of that ha ha, just joking). But at the same time always criticizing 'those western people'. I do understand that, because there are lots of things in the west I can imagine they don't like (I don't like it either), but at the same time they expect that western people shut up.
Well, this is very very common in Holland. It happens a lot between different cultures.
