Hmmm! What sort of accent do I have?
Even though I'm a born and bred French-Canadian, I don't have much of a French accent when I speak English. Maybe some words here and there, but most of the time people think I'm native English. That's until they pay attention to my grammar
which is not perfect, I know! And it's getting more and more contaminated with Dutch grammar, so that's not arranging things at all. My English accent is also quite eclectic, with Canadian/American/British pronounciations all mixed up together (tv influence, ya know!) :o
