I actually doing that mkyself- making celeb posters of my friends...
Oh well I agree with all that promoting false standards and shalowness stuff...
But on the other hand photography is also a tricky thing- with bad light anyone could look really bad.... I had friends stare at their photoshopped pics and say in amazement... but I'm BEAUTIFUL! After years of being afraid of being in the pictures they really felt like they were not worse than those airbrushed cover girls!
Another thing is what we are taught and sold every day- body and looks wise... One thing to remember true beauty comes from inside, isnt it what they call charm? Havent you ever met people who are not attractive according to pop culture standards, but who seem to radiate that special somthing? Like a girl or a guy that is not particulary attractive but everyone is mad about?
I think it comes from inner feeling of dignity and self-respect, but also some special twinkle in the eye.... more precious than all the airbrushing in the world....
