I was referring to, in my post that you most recently responded to...

It seems as if you are saying that we (as a nation) are fighting to keep religion IN schools & gov't, and we (as a nation) want to keep our children "continuing our religious traditions"... as well as implying that morals had to do with keeping said religion in schools/gov't.
I have absolutely NO problem if this is what you want to do as an individual..
the part I was questioning & wanting clarification on is why you thought that "we" as a nation (as you seemed to be replying to Mosaic as if you were speaking for all Americans) would want to do that, because, if I recall, our country was founded on religious freedom, one of the great ideas being "separation of church and state"
so sorry if I did not understand your post

I see now what you were referring to. When you post so many times in one thread, it is hard to keep track and once again I apologize you didn't understand who I was referring to. Who I was referring to when I said "WE" are Christians in the area I live, who were opposed to having the ten commandments removed from the court house. I actually was not involved in the process other than signing a petition. The end result did not matter much to me because I still see the statues in front of a church. I also believe in religious freedoms. As I have posted many times, this was used as an example for Mosaic to help her understand my view. Have a good night.
