The girl knows just a bit Tsifteteli mixed with some movements of AmCab and some movements of Raqs Sharqi, but her entire repertory consists of all together maybe 10 moves, so it is embarasing that she claims to be a big expert on authentic Arabian dancing. She talks about having her roots in Egypt, but even if she does (which means that maybe her parents are Greeks from Egypt), she surely hasn't got brought up with Egyptian culture, if I judge from her dancing.
Besides this she spams constantly the Greek belly dance forum with advertisement about her school and she lies about her titles and authorities. The thread she posted here (or, better to say,her manager posted here) was also a spam. It was the same advertisement for her school like in the Greek forum, only this time in English, that's why I deleted it (I am the moderator of that forum).
Sorry that I'm talking so unfriendly about her, but I am generally mad with the belly dance in Greece right know. 90% of the people who claim to be great teachers and performers are bluffing and lying and they have no skills at all. They only want to make money, because it is easy to make money with Oriental Dance at the moment, especially if you are young and look like a model. The clubs in Greece are full with really bad dancers who have zero skills but look good and show enough flesh! Especially in Athens the situation is a disaster! In Thessaloniki things are a bit better, because there are some serious people and studios who do good work, but also there the majority of dancers is just trash!
Sorry, I had to tell all this, because I'm sooooo angry with different things I've experienced in Greece lately and also with some very stupid things which are going on in the Greek forum.
