Superglue is the only thing that would work to keep flowers or anything else in my hair, and I don't recommend that.
You can buy brand new shiny alligator clips at an automotive store. If you are really determined, you could get some very fine fabric-covered florist's wire and wire the darn flowers into a braided strand of hair.
