I have short, straight and fine hair and wear flowers all the time as I do quite a bit of tribal fusion. I found that bobbypins just don't hold things in place, so I use those little flat barrettes that snap open and closed....what do you call those.....? But first, I spray my hair with hairspray in order to create some friction so that those will stay, otherwise they slide right out.
