BTW Brea playing zills is not simple. Really good zill players can get a lot of different qualities and also degrees of loudness/quietness also ringy/mellow out of them. Even like tinkling crystal. But that's very few! It takes a lot of practice. I can barely play the two starting rhythms while walking slowly.
And opinions vary on the question of whether zill playing is mostly beledi vs. an integral part of raks sharki.
