Also, you may want to put in a quick call to a larger dance company and ask who they use, since that person will be more familiar with all of the glorious things that dancers do to their feet, and the particular toll it takes. With regards to your asthma issue, I'll have to go back and find what meds you are taking, I think I have an idea.

Hi Robynne,
I'm in Sydney, Australia. That is a great idea about asking my local dance companies who they use for foot probs. The medications I'm on are for athma and are Ventolin (I rarely have to use this) and Flixotide (which I use daily). I really don't like taking them and try to wean myself off regularly. I do okay but inevitably a virus will come along and will set me back and I'll have to up the meds to avoid pneumonia. The reason I am suspicious is that I had never a problem with my feet until I started taking these medications. Actually, I didn't have any problems with my lungs at all for 36 years until I got very run down, got pneumonia (which I had had once at age 12) and landed in hospital where they gave me massive amounts of antibiotics and steroids including Prednesone. My goal is to be completely drug free but as a busy Mum I have to breath YK?
