I have performed on the cruise ship. For me it is not as much fun as it seems. I get sea sick and I didn't enjoy dancing there. On top of it you are performing for same people every night. Then again, it is depends on the cruise ship and how long you are away for etc., etc., I don't know about your part of the world but here the stage production companies get us the gigs.
