I have to agree with that. I sometimes watch old videos of dancers like P. Banu and think I am seeing old style AmCab (though if one of my dancers ever did a floor backbend with her knees facing the audience, I'd have something to say about it.
).
Have to admit, I liked the risque snake bra. Bet it was uncomfortable as heck, though.
