Regarding the halter style bra.
Last night I was working on one of my costumes. One strap was longer than the other and it just didn't look right. Plus, the sides, just under the armpits were a little saggy. I took the strap off and made a halter out of it and it pulled the sides up and now the bra looks better on me than it did with regular straps.
