I got mine pierced in July and it did hurt but for as quick as it was it was definitely tolerable (and I am a sissy when it comes to pain). I know it is supposed to take a while to heal but how much irritation is normal? I feel like I need to take it out and let it grow up because it seems to stay irritated...it might start to do better but then it gets worse again...besides that I did have one incident in the shower where I hung it while bathing...next thing I knew I was passed out in the floor with my feet still in the shower...lucky my head didn't hit the toilet...I've never passed out prior and haven't passed out since.
