Is there a name for things a belly dancer might wear on her feet that have no sole and are just to decorate the top of the feet?

I've seen metal versions called "slave anklets" on e-bay but the ones that I am searching for are of soft material. I've seen some out of beaded fabric held on with elastic under the foot and also some crocheted out of metallic yarn that slip over one toe and tie up around the ankle. If anybody knows of a place with instructions for the crocheted ones I'd appreciate that info. I'd like to have a go at making them.
