Do you know the people who dislike English spelling the most are native English speakers? Did you know Dr. Seuss wrote a story one time called "The Tough Coughs While He Ploughs the Dough?" Do you know none of those words is pronounced like any of the others? And are you familiar with the dog name "Fido?" Would you prefer the alternative English spelling of "Pheighdeaux?" Or would you prefer the name of a dog I know which is pronounced "Foon" and spelled Featherstonehaugh?
