The best thing I ever did for my eye makeup was wander in to a M.A.C. store and had one of their makeup artists do my eyes. I told her I wanted a look and color palatte suitable for stage as well as real life. She explained every product, color, and brush to me as she went, and as she did each step on one eye, she had me repeat it on the other eye. I bought the makeup (a mostly neutral palatte) and 3 brushes and have loved it all ever since.

Having high quality eyeshadow base, high quality high pigment eye shadows, and quality brushes in the right variety make all the difference. Knowing how to apply and blending, blending, blending makes all the difference. I went home and without hesitation threw away all of my mayabelline, L'Oreal, and Revlon eye makeup.

If they have M.A.C. in England, even if you have to make a special trip to the big city, is worth it.

Oh, and thanks to whomever posted the "limecrime.com" link. Great ideas for dramatic eye makeup!
