Nah, let's have saints (dead and revered) and idols (live and- well, idolized). And then there can be the graven images- ooh, cool- and the sacred cows (but maybe we shouldn't go there given the derogatory meaning of "cow" when appled to women).
On the other hand beatificness is such a great word that perhaps we should form a whole new genre of worthies to be called beatificiniks- they could listen to beat poetry and Charlie Parker as well as middle eastern stuff.
