Even though I'd still pick a date which has a meaning, I also think that springish-summerish-time is a good idea.I don't know how it works with your dancing "seasons" but our studios hold dance concerts mid- or at the end of May, to let their students show what they've learned during the year. it would be great to join it with the world bellydance day!
