A healthy diet and exercise in addition to your dance practice will help reduce your total body fat (as we all know, there is no such thing as 'spot' reduction). If you lift weights, you'll burn more fat, as a muscular body burns more calories than one with less muscle mass.

Of course you are right, Gia...
I unfortunately know all about stretching skin.
But if someone eats the same # of calories, but begins to burn more by doing aerobics, their fat layer will shrink, and usually their cellulite will be less obvious.
And if someone eats the same # of calories, but does weight workouts, they'll build muscle, and their fat layer will also shrink (because there's not enough calories to maintain both the new muscle and all the old fat), and usually their cellulite will be less obvious.
I should have said that if you work out more, yet eat the same way, cellulite will probably be less of a problem, because a set number of calories can only go so far to fuel activity and maintain tissue. It is the fuel that limits the body size, not the skin!
Too bad for me that working out is more difficult than writing about it!:p
